I am a junior journalism major at Texas State University in San Marcos! Go Bobcats! I was Secretary for the Texas State chapter Society of Professional Journalists this year and will be involved next year as well. I really love telling stories through photography. One picture can say so much if done well. I would love to master that someday. I will be studying abroad in Cork, Ireland this summer with Texas State! As soon as I get back from Ireland I will be headed to Anaheim, California for the National SPJ Conference!

I am a multimedia journalism major and an aspiring science journalist. I volunteer at Austin Underground a Texas Student Television show (check it out!). I am also a member of G.L.O.W. a Geology Leadership Organization for Women. My involvement in these organizations reflect my commitment to increasing interest in STEM fields among underrepresented groups, my love for the environment, and my interest in video and photography. I am currently looking for internship opportunities where I can further develop my video, photography, writing, and social media skills. It would be a treat if it involved science and I could produce bilingual content!

I am an English, mass communication senior at Texas State University- San Marcos. I completed an internship with the Austin Film Society a few years back, which renewed my interest in screenplay writing and sparked a new interest in marketing for non-profit organizations. If I'm not writing for my campus newspaper, The University Star, or sitting outside of my favorite local coffee shop drinking a Shyster, you can catch me watching episodes of my favorite television series, "Battlestar Galactica," online.
